The Town of Bath, West Virginia—home to Berkeley Springs—has officially received a state trademark designation for “America’s First Spa Town.” This recognition affirms Bath’s historic legacy as a premier destination for wellness, relaxation, and natural mineral springs dating back to 1776.
The trademark, granted by the State of West Virginia, strengthens Bath’s identity as a unique tourism destination and supports ongoing efforts to promote heritage travel, economic development, and year-round visitation.
