Parking during Snow Emergencies – Snow Removal Update

NOTICE: 

Snow Removal Update – Friday, January 30, 2026

Our street crew will begin snow removal tomorrow, Friday, January 30, starting at 8:00 AM on Congress Street and Independence Street.

We kindly ask residents to use alternate parking while crews are working on these streets. Once the snow removal is complete, you may return to parking in those areas.

Thank you for your cooperation as we continue working to keep our roads safe and accessible.


NOTICE: 

Snow Removal Update – Washington St (RT 522) – 01-28-2026

 
The West Virginia Division of Highways will be removing snow from the parking spaces and roadside areas along Washington Street (RT 522) tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026, between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
 
Please use extra caution when traveling through Town and be mindful of the workers and equipment operating in the area.
 
Where possible, we ask residents and business owners to avoid parking on Main Street, especially as crews approach your block. We understand that parking on the side streets is limited due to the recent snowfall, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to clear the snowbanks that have built up.

The Snow Season is Here!

Although the snow is pretty coming down, it can be a lot of work to clean up. Let’s help our Town’s Public Works Department by parking in the correct places.

snow emergency is defined as an accumulation of four (4) inches or more of snow.

Snow Removal Plan for the Town of Bath

During a snow emergency, parking is prohibited on either side of Washington St/Route 522 and Fairfax St. 

  • For all streets running east/west (Route 9, Independence St, Congress St etc.) parking is prohibited on the south side of the street.
  • For streets running north/south (Wilkes, Mercer, Green St, etc.) parking is prohibited on the east side of the street.
