Update on Planned Water Outage

UPDATE:

04/29/2026 Water Service Update – Dawson Street
Water service has been restored to customers in the vicinity of Dawson Street, following the recent water line replacement project.
 
Please note that a Boil Water Notice is officially in effect until further notice. This is a precautionary measure while required water samples are being tested. Results are expected next week.
 
During the boil water notice, bring all water to a rolling boil and allow it to cool for at least one minute or use bottled water.

Planned Water Outage – Berkeley Springs Water Works Berkeley Springs Water Works would like to inform our customers of a planned water outage scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday April 28th and Wednesday, April 29th beginning at 9:00 AM.
 
This outage is necessary so our operators can safely replace a water line on Dawson Street. During this time, customers will experience a temporary loss of water service.
 
We have made a mass call, text, and email on Friday, April 24th to notify customers within the immediate vicinity who we believe will be affected.
 
If you did not receive a notification and have questions about your service, please contact our office at 304-258-1290. 🚱
 
Once water service is restored, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until further notice. During this advisory, please follow these guidelines: Bring all water to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute, then allow it to cool before use. Use boiled or bottled water for, drinking, brushing teeth, food preparation, making ice, washing clothes, bathing.
 
We understand this may be an inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to improve our water system. Updates will be provided as they become available.
