A Message from the Office of the Mayor
Town of Bath (Berkeley Springs), West Virginia
Dear Residents of Bath and Morgan County,
It is with immense pride and a deep appreciation for our heritage that I officially recognize the 36th Annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting. For over two centuries, our town has been defined by the crystal-clear mineral waters that bubble up from our historic springs. What began as a destination for those seeking the health benefits of these sacred waters has grown into the “Academy Awards of Water,” and the Town of Bath is honored to serve as this year’s Host and Presenting Sponsor.
As the steward of some of the world’s most exclusive water, our town understands that water is more than a resource—it is our identity. This competition brings the global spotlight to our corner of West Virginia, proving that whether a bottle comes from the French Alps, the islands of the Pacific, or right here in the Town of Bath, quality and purity are universal standards.
To the judges, the participants, and the organizers who have kept this tradition flowing for thirty-six years: thank you for your dedication to the world’s most precious commodity.
To our residents and visitors: I invite you to join us February 19–21 at The Country Inn to celebrate the taste, the history, and the natural beauty that make the Town of Bath a truly one-of-a-kind destination and the gem of West Virginia.
A toast to great health and hospitality,
Greg Schene Mayor, Town of Bath
